In this not commercial site we will tell a lot of our garden,plants and combination of plants throughout the seasons and gardens we have visited in Europe and outside Europe.Also there are many links to garden and botanical sites on the internet. All the information we give is an own interpretation of our interest in plants and gardening. So we are not responsible for any errors.We hope you will enjoy this site.
We started with the construction of the garden in 1995 according to an own ground and planting plan around a new built house in a small village in the Netherlands.In the last few years there were made some adaptations: A pond and a small buxusborder with a central topiaried taxus.We mainly use hardy plants,grasses,roses and shrubs.The structure in the garden,especially important in the winter, is reached by hedges from taxus,ilex and fagus sylvatica. In the borders,carefully cutted taxus and buxus and also grasses are important for the structure.We like a naturally way of gardening.On the photographs some impressions of the garden in June 2003,showing parts of the headborders with combinations of hardy perennials and roses.In the arch the climbing roses Veilchenblau and Blue Magenta.
